We have gone to school with each other since grade school, just living in the background of each others lives.. until our junior and senior year of high school. We found ourselves in the same pottery class that we both took for fun. After a couple of days in class, Spencer was invited by a couple of mutual friends to sit at our table. Spencer was this fun and goofy guy I quickly became friends with. I soon noticed Spencer had a flirtatious side. Spencer started offering to do things I didn't like to do, like mixing the pottery glazes or putting my hands in the sloppy clay buckets. I was definitely playing hard to get, but he stayed persistent. After 3 months I finally agreed to go on a date with him. On February 14, 2015 we became an official couple and have been inseparable ever since.
I took a pottery class just for fun. For a couple of days at the beginning of class, I played musical chairs around the pottery studio trying to find my "spot". After a couple of failed attempts at finding a table I liked, I found myself at a table of three girls. This was the table I thought would be the worst of all but I was very wrong. At the beginning, I would have never imagined that I was sitting three feet away from my future wife. Cassie caught my eye instantly. As the days past, I found myself doing little things for her to try and win her over. Anything I could do to please her, I would do. From fetching clay to mixing up pottery glazes, I was determined to make a good impression. I was infatuated by every aspect of her and the more I got to know her, I knew I had to make my move. After a couple of months of knowing her, I jokingly asked her on a date. To my surprise, she said yes! The rest is history!
