After a lot of thought and prayers, Noah and I have decided to postpone our wedding to August 9th, 2020. With so much uncertainty from COVID-19, we feel it is best to have all of our family and friends safe. This has been such a devastating time, but we know our God is in control. Please continue to pray for everyone who is impacted by COVID-19 and stay safe! #RollingwiththePunchards
The famous question that we get is, how did we meet? Of course this was 7 years ago but the story is so SWEET! We met at Dairy Queen when our two different youth groups decided to get ice cream after Wednesday night church. Noah sat down right beside me and was very shy to talk to me, but I was very outgoing and talked the night away. We exchanged phone numbers and talked everyday since. I guess you can say he MELTED my heart!
The proposal was in Orlando when Noah and I went on my cousin’s end-of-the-year school trip. My Aunt, Uncle, three cousins, Noah and I were packed in the car to go to Universal studios. My Aunt kept saying the map isn’t loading and kept redirecting our route. I wasn’t thinking anything about it because it’s Orlando. You never know what’s happening on the road. We arrived in downtown Orlando at Lake Eola. My Aunt parked the car (which I thought was weird) and we all got out. It was beautiful so why not take some pictures? While Noah and I posed for a picture, he got down on one knee and asked the famous question, “Will you marry me?” I started crying and of course said “YES!” I didn’t wait for Noah to stand up. I went down and hugged him. We almost fell over on the ground because of my bear hug! The rest of the day I couldn’t stop looking at my future husband or my ring!
