The Wedding Website of Cassie Punnett and Jefferson Doyle

Travel Note

Thanks for coming to Livingston & Paradise Valley!

Livingston, MT is a small town & very touristy in August. This means available lodging tends to be more expensive than you want AND gets booked quickly- yay! So if you haven't already figured out your lodging- do so ASAP. A sincere apology for our belatedness in getting the word out about our wedding details! Please forgive us! See below for some lodging recommendations. Livingston is generally very walkable, along a lovely river, with plenty of nice parks, and historic buildings and neighborhoods. If you are not renting a vehicle for your visit, we recommend staying at a hotel, Airbnb, etc within the city limits. If you don't mind driving and want to stay in a more rural area, Paradise Valley is south of Livingston and home to various campgrounds and Airbnb possibilities. It's gorgeous and there are plenty of river access points along the Yellowstone River to explore.

Travel Note

Bozeman International Airport BZN

Flying to the wedding? The closest airport is Bozeman International Airport (BZN) located in Belgrade, MT, a 40 minute drive to Livingston. There are car rental options at the airport. We anticipate most folks flying in on Thursday/Friday, so there may be potential for ride-sharing from BZN to Livingston. The Bozeman/Livingston area is not great for public transit and we apologize in advance.

Hotel

The Grabow Hotel

204 East Callender Street, Livingston, MT 59047

We rented three rooms at the Grabow Hotel in downtown Livingston, one of which is still available. The room is rented for Friday, August 9 thru Sunday, August 11; check-in is 3PM and check-out is 10AM. The available room: "Canyon" - One bedroom with queen bed, plus a comfortable queen pullout couch in the living room--sleeps up to 4 total. There's a full dine-in kitchen, bathroom, and shared side garden. $375 total for two nights. If you would like to stay in one of the rooms we reserved or want more info, contact Cassie or Jeff (whoever you love more). We can send you the AirBnB pages with more info. ***If you're reading this post, the room is still available*** We will update when they're taken. The historic Grabow Hotel in downtown Livingston is a few blocks away from the Livingston Depot Center and close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. It's affordable for the area, one of the cheaper options we found. We have never stayed here, but the rooms look quaint, simple, comfy, and come with kitchenettes. The address is 204 East Callender St, Livingston, Montana ("Grabow Hotel" doesn't pop up on Google Maps). The hotel doesn't seem to have a website, either, except for their AirBnB pages.

Hotel

Yellowstone River Inn & Suites

114 Loves Lane, Livingston, MT 59047
 (406) 222-4400

We have 5 rooms reserved at the Yellowstone River Inn & Suites. It's a no-frills hotel, but it has good reviews and is reasonably priced for the area. It's located on the outskirts of Livingston, right off the highway, just over a mile and a half to the center of the small downtown area. This option may be better for those who have access to a car and aren't interested in walking longer distances. (We wanted to include these rooms for folks who preferred staying in hotels. Renting via AirBnB or VRBO may be comparably priced.) We have reserved three rooms with one Queen bed each, and two rooms with two Queen beds each. Room prices are $215/night for rooms with a single Queen, and $230/night for rooms with two Queens, not including taxes. These rooms are NOT YET PAID FOR--if interested in reserving, please click the button below and complete the reservation and payment with the hotel. The reservation is under "Punnett" (PUN-IT).

House Or Rental

Livingston/Paradise Valley KOA Campground

163 Pine Creek Road, Livingston, MT 59047

We have reserved three campsites at this KOA campground right on the Yellowstone River, about 12 miles south of Livingston. One campsite is reserved for August 8-12, the other two are reserved for August 9-11. The campsites are for tents, and should have a firepit and picnic table at each one. This is a busy, family-friendly campground, so there will most likely be lots of people and it won't be super private. But it is right next to the river! If you'd like to camp at one of the reserved sites, let us know and we will send you the details! These are already paid for at $45/night. The sites may not be next to the other reserved sites.

House Or Rental

Pine Creek Campground

266 Luccock Park Road, Livingston, MT 59047

We have reserved one campsite at Pine Creek Campground in Custer Gallatin National Forest, about a 30-minute drive south of Livingston. The campsite is reserved from August 8-12, and can fit up to eight people and two cars. The price per night is $26. This campground is more secluded and less busy than the KOA by the river. Bears frequent the area, so be aware and take necessary precautions. If you're interested in camping here, reach out to Jeff or Cassie!
