Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please include any food allergies or other dietary requirements when responding to the RSVP on this website. You can also feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions or special requests!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The ceremony will take place outside so please plan accordingly.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are a few hotel options in the downtown Penn Yan area as well as rental options (Airbnb, etc.). These can be found under the “Travel” section of this website. Please note that there will be other events taking place in the area on the same weekend, including a college graduation ceremony, so please book as soon as you have made a decision on whether you will be able to attend!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:15pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Cocktails will be available prior to the ceremony and light bites and cocktails will also be served following the ceremony. We can't wait to see you there!

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Shuttles will be provided to the venue. Please see below the schedule for transportation from the local hotels to the venue prior to the ceremony. Loop #1 3:05PM - Departs Hampton Inn 3:15PM - Departs Best Western 3:25PM - Departs Microtel 3:30PM - Drop-off at Crispin Hill Loop #2 3:50PM - Departs Hampton Inn 4:00PM - Departs Best Western 4:10PM - Departs Microtel 4:15PM - Drop-off at Crispin Hill Transportation will also be provided from the venue. A shuttle will be on site and available to drive you back to the local hotels beginning at 8:30pm. There will also be scheduled loops following the reception. Early Departures: 8:30PM - Early Departure #1 (loops to all three local hotels) 9:00PM - Early Departure #2 (loops to all three local hotels) 9:30PM - Early Departure #3 (loops to all three local hotels) Post-Reception 10:00PM - Departs Crispin Hill #1 (drop-off at all three hotels & Silverbird) 10:20PM - Departs Crispin Hill #2 (drop-off at all three hotels & Silverbird) 10:45PM - Departs Crispin Hill #3 (drop-off at all three hotels & Silverbird)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be a small amount of onsite parking available. Please reach out directly if you’d like to park at the venue. Otherwise, we recommend using the shuttle transportation provided (information above).

Question

Will there be an after party following the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be heading to the Silverbird Woodfired Bar & Restaurant following the reception for those who want to keep the party going!! Please see shuttle schedule above for transportation to the after party. Transportation will not be provided following the after party; however, all three local hotels are in walking distance from the restaurant.
