Our Wedding Venue is the MV Skansonia: a retired wooden ferry boat permanently moored on Lake Union in Seattle. The ship is over 90 years old and used to transport passengers in and around the nearby San Juan Islands!

We fell in love with this venue because of the panoramic views of the skyline and waterfront. Imagine celebrating on the deck, with a drink in hand, where you might even witness a seaplane taking off on the water. The interior of the Skansonia is even more dreamy, featuring vintage maritime decor with original fixtures and polished wood accents.

The ceremony will take place on the bow of the boat that opens up to Lake Union. We will still have the sun out in Seattle until 9:00pm when the sun sets. The reception and dancing will take place indoors with the opportunity to stand out on the deck and enjoy the view. We cannot wait to dance under the twinkle lights with our closest friends and family!
