We *technically* met on this date (the first day of PT school)... but we didn't really know each other existed until well over a month into school- we started chatting while out celebrating finishing our first exam. Our first official date was January 2, 2017 and included Pittsburgh Popcorn Factory and Phipps Conservatory.

On a trip to Lake Tahoe, Cass planned to pop the question mid-hike with great views. She had been planning for months and had every detail in place (including having Shelby's friends carry champagne up the mountain). Little did she know that Shelby was also planning to propose. In true Shelby fashion, she started planning less than a month before the trip and still managed to propose first- surprising the hell out of Cass!
