Till death do us part

We met our senior year of high school after our teacher assigned seats and he got stuck sitting next to me. Nick was so timid at first and wouldn’t talk to me but he would laugh at my jokes. He slowly started warming up to me and showing his goofy side. As the year went by, he became my best friend and would drop everything to be by my side when I needed him. I was hesitant at first but he was persistent and I slowly started falling for him. Then, he finally asked me to be his date to prom and the rest is history.

Nick proposed in our home while we hosted a very intimate gathering with some of our family. We were all supposed to take turns to take pictures around the Christmas tree. We were up first and everyone pulled out their phones and I immediately knew what was about to happen. I turned to face him and instantly started crying then he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him.
