Hensley Wedding 2023

March 5, 2022 a conversation immersed via “Bumble” lol yes we both swiped right! We immediately hit it off with the simple fact we both love Fruity Pebble Cereal of all things!! We talked day and night message after message until we finally got the courage to meet in person, 5…days…later… March 10, 2022 was officially our first date in person at good ole Saltgrass Steakhouse. Now if you know us you know that I was 30 minutes early and my lovely Kyle was 10 minutes late, great first impression lol but too be fair I had purple hair at the time and decided to show up in a bright yellow dress do not ask me what I was thinking because I do not know! But THANK GOD he saw passed all that and saw straight into my soul! With the first hi and hug their was sparks, it immediately felt different than anything we both had experienced before. Instant connection! We talked for hours at the restaurant to the point where our waiter came up to us to remind us “hey we’re closing, are y’all done?” It blew our minds how quickly time flew by!! Then there was the infamous walk me to my car and I remember it like it was yesterday he immediately said “whoa you have a Toyota too!!! That’s sick I do too” lol and yet another thing we bonded over! I think that is what made him want to ask me out on a second date to be honest but I didn’t care what it was because I knew this dude was for me! And how I knew is because he didn’t kiss me on the first date, he chose to be respectful and wait and I never experienced that before and I was starstruck to say the least! Then a week later on March 17, 2022 he texted me asking me on a date and at this point we weren’t “official” yet but I had hoped it was coming soon, and that day he took me out and surprised me with my favorite flowers/color, Yellow roses and sunflowers and asked me “Cassandra will you do me the honor in being my girlfriend?” And guess what I said “Heck yeah!” Lol And since that day we have had adventure after adventure, laugh after laugh, a love story neither one of us expected but because God was leading us he led us into finding each other. Fast forward to now April 21, 2023, I was told we were going to help his photographer sister expand her portfolio with pictures and little did I know my life would change forever, this day is the day my bestfriend Wall<3, King K chose to get down on one knee in a beautiful garden and ask “Cassandra will you make me the happiest man and do me the honor in marrying me?” And what did I say “YES!” So because we chose to both swipe right, we are planning a wedding a year later and now the rest is history!
