After first meeting at a sorority/rugby team mixer, Monica and Steve bumped into each other about once a weekend for four weeks. Steve finally got the courage to ask Monica out, and after a first date at Lemongrass, it's been happily ever after.

Steve pulled off the surprise of Monica's dreams and proposed in the Duke Gardens in June of 2022. He brought Monica's parents, Patrick & Elena, and Megan & Scott together to celebrate all day. Champagne was popped, nails were done, and cigars were smoked.
