November 27th 2010 was the day that we officially became a couple. A couple of high school seniors that would soon turn a friendship, into an everlasting relationship. The two of us met by hanging out through a group of mutual friends. The initial hellos and subtle greetings quickly turned into hanging out constantly and becoming best friends with one another. The jokes, laughter, pranks, arguments, phone calls, parties, and crazy car rides are just a few examples of things that created our bond. The friendship began to grow and feelings became stronger. Everything just seemed to fit when we finally gained the courage to start dating because we already knew everything about each other. The next chapter began as we went off to college together. From the freshman dorms to our senior house, we spent each night together. We pushed one another to finish school and earn our degrees. We met some of our best friends during these years and had the time of our lives. Sacrificing sleep for studying and a social life became normal. Playing lacrosse and rugby became a great outlet for us to maintain our love for sports. And Saturday brunch at Tobey Kendall after a wild Friday night was always something we looked forward to. College posed some challenges for our relationship, but we had already come too far to just give up on each other. The tough times were the defining moments that showed us just how in love with each other that we really were. Now the two of us are in the third chapter of our lives together. Our goals have increased and we continue to motivate each other to be great in our careers and lives. Our families have supported the two of us in our relationship and are just as exited as we are to see us tie the knot. This next step together will lead to an amazing marriage and family that we can continue to build our legacy through. The love that we share remains constant and we can’t wait to continue to build memories with each other for the rest of our lives!
