Let's get married!

Who wouldn't fall in love after an initial greeting of "wow, your face is sparkly" in reference to Casey's makeup bronzer she likely overdid nervously in anticipation of the first impression. A couple of Applebee's tacos, some sunroof moonlight conversation, several hours, and a whole lot of laughter later...the rest fell into place exactly how it was always meant to be.

Mallory tricked Casey into believing they were selected for a styled couple's photoshoot when Casey was really helping to plan her surprise engagement the whole time! No stone was left unturned and every little detail was perfectly executed. From the dogs running around the lake front property to the Rihanna playlist in the background, it was perfectly us. Mallory popped the big question and Casey answered with "YES, it's about time!" The rest of our session was spent in total shock; like the butterfly, warm and cozy, so in love kind of shock. We ended our special moment with a dip in the lake because anything for the perfect picture, right? Luckily, we regained feeling in our feet and surprisingly escaped hypothermia given December water temperatures. Mallory, of course could not end the day with anything other than all of our favorite people and arranged for all our family and friends to be at our new home when we arrived back to celebrate us into the late hours!
