Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Ruth DeBaise

Maid of Honor

Thanks to Ruth’s outgoing personality, she and Casey became instant friends after meeting at church while Casey was in chiropractic school in Seneca Falls. Soon they were cooking weeknight dinners together, heading downtown for an evening out, and enjoying all that lake life has to offer. When a career change took Ruth to California during Casey’s last year of school, Ruth made it back to surprise Casey at her graduation. Even with distance and time as a barrier, these best friends have continued to support and grow with each other through the years. In the truest meaning, Ruth is the definition of a best friend.

Dan Kirchheimer

Best Man

Since around the 3rd grade, Josh's best friend has been Dan. Starting out riding bikes to Lil' Leon's, graduating to mountain biking, and then graduating from that to off-roading in a Nissan Sentra, the stories that could be told are endless. Even as their lives have ebbed and flowed, Dan has been the "brother" that Josh never had as an only-child, and him being the Best Man was an absolute no-brainer.

Amber Trexler

Bridesmaid

“When Casey and Amber were growing up, I never had to worry when boys came around the farm. At the end of the day, the boys were exhausted from trying to impress and the girls were still hard at work.” -Brian Trexler As sisters, Casey and Amber grew up working together, playing together, and becoming unique people, together. These sisters are principled, confident, genuine, and adventurous, but perhaps most notably, they share strong ambition softened by loving hearts. While their strength has driven them professionally, it has also fostered a competitiveness that only siblings can understand. But it is the love for their family, and one another, that always wins. Casey greatly looks forward to having her sister stand beside her on her wedding day, as she will for the rest of her life.

Matthew Lee

Groomsman

Matt and Josh met at the fire academy after both being hired by the Johnson City Fire Department in 2013. It was fairly evident early on that they both knew how to have a good time, so much so that following their graduation, they were placed on Group A together. Since then, whether it was working at fires, in the stations, or on projects, Josh has known that Matt is reliable, both as a person and as a friend. If there is one person at work that Josh will lean on, it is Matt.

Kaitlyn Sterner

Bridesmaid

Kaitlyn is the OG. Sparks of friendship go back as far as middle school line dancing electives. In high school, Kaitlyn and Casey developed their friendship in the Ag shop and in the back of school vans heading to FFA and Rifle Team events. Even when the distance of college made it harder to spend time together, handwritten letters got them through until the next time they could catch-up over a bonfire at home. Whether it was seeing a bluegrass special at the Ryman in Nashville or over-fishing bluegills in Cayuga Lake, they have always found ways to keep their country-girl friendship alive and strong. Few people are blessed to have a friend like Kaitlyn, let alone be able to share that friendship for this length of time.

Patrick Reynolds

Groomsman

Pat. On paper, this friendship makes minimal sense but in person, this friendship is something awesome. When Josh and Pat get together, whether it's been days, weeks, or months, it is almost always like no time has passed at all. Through good times and bad, Pat (and his wife Nicole) have been there to celebrate life in whatever way was needed.

Alexis Radzibaba

Bridesmaid

Casey’s closest friend from undergrad at Grove City, this unlikely duo has aged fine like the Eagle Rare they enjoy drinking together. Indulging in oysters in DC or meeting in the middle for family sushi making night in Kempton, these two have continued their relationship despite the miles between them. They have shared their own worlds with one another, and started traveling the rest of it together, thanks to Alexis’ exceptional international travel planning skills. More trips and more memories are surely on the horizon.

Kevin Madden

Groomsman

Speaking of unlikely friendships, Josh and Kevin started out a little unprecedented. If you don't know the story, this is it in a nutshell: Kevin tossed Josh out of a hockey game, few months later, Josh was at the firehouse and received Kevin's applicant paperwork when he dropped it off, few months later they worked out of the same firehouse, and now they hang out all of the time, whether it be grabbing wings, sitting by a fire, or watching the NHL on TV. Even in friendship, Kevin still maintains a role as a "referee" to Josh in steering him in the right direction at times.

Ashley Heffelfinger

Bridesmaid

Ashley is as close to being a part of the Trexler family as Josh. She and Jairus began dating shortly after Josh and Casey in the early summer of 2019 and they are now also engaged to be married! Always down for a good time, a few hands of Canasta, kayaking at the cabin, and some hunting, Ashley is the sister who Casey and Josh look forward to continuing to grow with as family.

Jairus Trexler

Groomsman

As the bride's brother, Jairus is someone who Josh has had the pleasure of getting to know over the last two years. Always quick with a smirk, Jairus has been a life saver for this couple and their adventures. Thanks to facetime, he's helped to diagnose issues with their snowmobiles after they drove a few hours to go sledding on their own and had issues in true rookie form. Jairus' help will never be fully repaid for facilitating and encouraging the motorized adventures we've gone on, but attempts have been made through feeding the cows, picking potatoes in the dark during freezing temperatures, and splitting firewood (at the expense of one or two handles). He's also indoctrinated Josh into the Kempton life with Josh's red Albright's Mill hat that you may have noticed him wearing around.
