Things To Do

University of Arkansas

1 University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR 72701

Jacob graduated from the University of Arkansas in May 2023 with a Bachelors in Communications and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. He also worked for the Men's Basketball team for 5 years while completing his studies during high school and college.

Coler Mountain Bike Preserve Campground

2003 Northwest Homestead Lane, Bentonville, AR 72712

We met our second dog Casper here! We try to take our dogs on walks here and ride our bikes as often as we can to remember where his story with our family started.

Beaver Lake

AR

Jacob and Casey spend their summers boating, wakeboarding, tubing, and wakesurfing here. Enjoy all the nature and scenery the Ozarks has to offer here! (You MUST stop by War Eagle Mill for snacks/lunch on your way out for the full experience)

Devil's Den State Park

11333 West Arkansas Hwy. 74, Winslow, AR 72774

Jacob and Casey love hiking the trails at Devils Den State Park every fall as the leaves change. Devils Den is about 30-45 mins from Fayetteville, but has the best views and trails we've experienced in the 5 years of living here. The drive there alone is worth seeing!! If the word "Mountain View" has peaked your interest at all this is for you! If you are able and are intrested in any hiking or driving in this area, we highly recommend this Arkansas state park.

Feltner Brothers

2768 North College Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72703

Casey and Jacob had their first date in Arkansas here. Feltner Brothers has the best burgers in town!

West Dickson Street

West Dickson Street, Fayetteville, AR 72701

Dickson Street is home to many of the unique boutiques, galleries, bars and restaurants that Fayetteville offers. Discover the eclectic sounds of Fayetteville at one of the many bars and restaurants offering live music almost every night of the week. From dancing to shooting pool, there is something for everyone’s tastes. The energy in this area will reinvigorate even the most exhausted tourist (or resident). Here you’ll find a couple of the oldest and longest-running club and live music venues in Arkansas. Some of the nation’s best-known names in music have played on Dickson Street. And Fayetteville believes a great entertainment district should also be alive during the daylight hours. Spend your morning wandering through the Dickson Street Bookshop or have a relaxing lunch of your choice of patios at Feed & Folly, Pickelman's, or Hammontree's Grilled Cheese. Enjoy an afternoon dessert or stroll the Downtown Square gardens!
