Question

What airport do I fly into?

Answer

For your convenience, we recommend flying directly into Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), which is just a 10 minute drive from our venue. Alternatively, you can fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or John Wayne Airport (SNA) and rent a car for a scenic (approximately 1.5 - 2 hour) drive to Palm Springs.

Question

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

Dress Code: Black Tie Preferred We kindly request guests to embrace a formal dress code for our special day. For Women: Please avoid wearing white, cream, or ivory, as well as black satin, as these are reserved for the bridal party. For Men: Black tie is strongly recommended. If formalwear is not possible, we ask that you wear an elevated black suit as an alternative. Thank you for helping us create a beautiful and elegant celebration! Our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, and while we will have heaters available, the temperature in Palm Springs can drop to around 50-60 degrees in the evenings during February. We encourage you to bring a shawl, bolero, or coat to ensure your comfort throughout the night.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are delighted to host a portion of our family members, bridal party, and close friends on-site at Villa Royale - we have personally reached out to those staying with us at the venue. For our other cherished guests, we recommend exploring the many wonderful hotel and Airbnb options in the Palm Springs area. As Palm Springs offers a wide range of accommodations, we have not arranged specific room blocks. Please see the "Accommodations" tab for our hotel recommendations.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m., and we kindly ask that you arrive at the venue by 3:30 p.m. This will ensure that everyone is comfortably seated and ready to enjoy the festivities as they begin.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We truly wish we could include everyone, but due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening.

Question

What’s the best way to get around during the event?

Answer

We recommend using Uber or Lyft for convenient and reliable transportation throughout the event. It's an easy and stress-free way to travel without worrying about parking.

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

While parking may be available at the venue, we recommend parking at your hotel and using Uber and Lyft to get to the event. This will help you avoid potential parking challenges and ensure a smooth experience.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Question

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

We can't wait to see all of your festive attire, but we are advising against stiletto heels! The ceremony and reception will be on a grass lawn.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to beautiful Palm Springs! In late February, you’ll enjoy pleasant daytime temperatures in the 70s, but evenings can get quite cool, dipping into the high 50s to 60s. We recommend bringing a coat, sweater, bolero, or shawl for the evening.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be on the lawn at Villa Royale, with the cocktail hour poolside at the hotel.
