Reinhardt Wedding

After both attending/working The Carolina Country Music Festival in June 2023, we boarded a Spirit flight- returning home for Casey and a layover for David. David happened to be randomly selected to sit next to Casey. After noticing the wristband and a book Casey was reading, we started talking the whole flight and ended up exchanging numbers at the end. Shortly after, we started our long-distance relationship.

We have enjoyed traveling between Columbus, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida, seeing each other when we could but spending nights on end sleeping and talking on FaceTime. Finally, in June of 2024, David moved to Orange City, Florida, and we started creating our home together.

Casey's only requirement for a proposal was to have her family involved, so David decided that the prefect time was when the family was coming to Orlando for the yearly Halloween Horror Nights trip. David got Casey's sister-in-law and brother to tell her they were going to take "anniversary pictures and updated family pictures" the morning of HHN. After arriving at Cypress Grove, "Brother's wedding venue," we took a few pictures, and Brooke told Casey to show David the gazebo. We walked around, and David gave Casey her mother's engagement diamond, which he had turned into a necklace for her. After walking to the gazebo, he dropped down on one knee with a matching ring.
