CAITLIN'S STORY Before Casey and I started dating we were in the same friend group and would often hang around each other (almost every weekend)! At the time, I didn't even think Casey liked me! We would never talk to each other and I look back now and wonder if God did that on purpose to keep us in His perfect will. One day it felt like scales fell from my eyes and I started crushing secretly on Casey! Shortly after, God connected us and we started talking and even soon after that Casey asked me on a date! We ate Marlow’s and watched Black Panther on our first date and I can say that I don’t remember a single part of the movie because I was so nervous! I remember during one moment of the movie he reached over and grabbed my hand and every single butterfly in my stomach turned into hummingbirds and I knew at that moment that I didn’t want that night to end. Ever since that night, we have been inseparable and it is obvious to us that God had us (and has us) in His perfect will! I feel so very blessed that I get to start a family with the incredible gift that Casey is and I can’t wait for you to join us on our special day!

Caitlin and I met a few times before God opened my eyes to her. It started out as every other weekend we would hang out in the same friend group, but we never spoke to each other. That went on a few times until one night we were sitting on the same couch and I just had the thought that I liked this, I enjoyed sitting beside her on that couch for some reason. I held off and waited till the next time we were around each other to see if I felt the same way again. So, the next time came around and I found myself right beside her again and I had the same feeling. I knew that I wanted to get to know her even more and possibly see where it would go. So, I texted her and we texted off and on, but then you could tell it was getting more and more intentional with each other. I asked her out on our first date, we watched black panther and I held her hand that night. I enjoyed that night so much and was looking forward to having many more moments like that night. So fast forward to this season in our lives as we prepare to get married. I look back and getting to know Caitlin was the best thing God did in my life.
