COVID-19 Precautions

We are anxiously awaiting our wedding day and will be proceeding as scheduled. In an effort to keep our friends and family safe, we will be instituting some rules and guidelines for our guests. Please review these policies in the FAQ below.
Question

Will masks be required for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will be required to wear masks over their mouth and nose at all times during the ceremony. Paper masks will be available for guests if necessary. The wedding party and officiant will not be wearing masks, but we will have extra space in the front to keep our guests at a safe distance.

Question

How can I social distance during the ceremony?

Answer

Extra seats and space between rows will be in the ceremony space. Please use these to respect the space of other parties at the ceremony.

Question

Will masks be required during the reception?

Answer

Guests will be required to wear a mask over their mouth and nose, unless you are eating or drinking. When eating or drinking, guests must be at a table. Please be mindful of your distance to other parties when eating or drinking. Masks will be required at all times on the dance floor. The wedding party will be wearing masks when interacting with guests during the reception. The newly married couple will not be wearing masks during the meal, cake cutting and special dances. Please be mindful of your distance to them at these times.

Question

How can I social distance during the reception?

Answer

Extra seats and space between tables will set out for the reception. There will not be a seating plan, so please be mindful of your distance to other parties.

Question

How can I congratulate the bride and groom?

Answer

The bride and groom will come around to tables wearing masks during the reception to greet their guests. Please refrain from hugs and handshakes. We look forward to hugs and handshakes again when we see you in the future after we are all vaccinated.

Question

What other things will be done in response to COVID-19?

Answer

We will be providing paper masks for guests who need them. Hand sanitizer will be available in multiple places at the ceremony and reception.
