Noah and Carson’s story begins in March of 2022 at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, when Noah and Carson were both working at Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery. Yes, this is where they are getting married too. Tying the knot where it all began. Noah was in his senior year getting ready to graduate and Carson was in her junior year. They both loved working at the winery, spending their days having fun with coworkers and friends serving delicious wine. Carson particularly spent a lot of time with the chickens, dogs, and donkeys, always finding a reason to go feed or water them. Then after work, everyone would get their favorite wines and go hangout. Noah’s favorite was viognier and Carson’s favorite was the blackberry. Around May, the two realized they had a lot in common and had a lot of fun spending time together. They were inseparable the entire summer and started dating in early August. Noah later moved to Warner Robins and the two did long distance until Carson graduated and moved down there as well. They haven’t stopped drinking wine and having fun since.
Every other Christmas, Carson’s family goes on a fun trip instead of giving presents. It has been a tradition for many years. In December of 2023, the Maloof family took a trip to Banff, Canada to a winter wonderland. It was the most beautiful place she had ever seen and wished Noah could be there with her, but she understood how important Christmas traditions were for his family as well. 2 days into the trip, Carson was taking a nap on the couch after a long day of exploring the town, when some handsome man woke her up from her slumber. It was Noah!! She was completely shocked but so overwhelmed with joy that he surprised her and came to Canada to enjoy the family trip. The next day, they had the most fun playing in the snow (especially Noah) and exploring different trails. They ended it with some yummy food and of course, wine. That following morning, Noah was adamant about going to this lake. Carson could think of about 5 other things they should go do but Noah was not having it. They drove to the lake, Noah was gripping the steering wheel so hard you would have thought he was going to break it. Carson had no idea and was just fascinated by the surroundings during their drive. After arriving at the lake, there was a man standing with a camera. There were a few (very obvious) head nods to each other and as soon as Carson turned around, Noah was on one knee with the most beautiful ring she could have ever imagined. Neither of them quite remember what was said in that moment due to pure excitement and adrenaline, but this trip will forever hold the most special memories.
