We got married!

On October 30, 2022, Carson and Lex were joyfully married in an intimate ceremony in Long Beach, Washington with immediate family. The menu for the long weekend was curated by Carson's sister Adrian, brother-in-law Spencer, and Lex's parents Anna and Ted. Carson's mom Patty took charge of flowers and decorations. Dylan, one of Carson and Lex's best friends in the whole world, performed the marriage ceremony. Beach walks and board games were had by all, including four of Adrian and Spencer's famous dogs.

Carson Truett Lott and Alexa Lynette Chialtas have become Carson and Lex Truett. Many options were considered during the name-change discussion, which lasted for years. After considering both of our last names, we concluded that one made Lex sound like a knight of the round table (Sir Alexa Lott on the battlefield), and the other would prolong Lex's lifelong quest for an easy-to-pronounce last name. Raymond Truett Lott (1901-1974) was known to most by his middle name. In his later years, Truett spent time fishing with his grandson Lee, Carson's father, and caring for local stray dogs.
