Our Story
Carrie and Wyatt met in St. Louis while she was in medical school and he was working in a neonatology lab. Carrie thought she was going to go into neonatology at the time and joined Wyatt's lab for research. They spent a year as friends trading cookies before dating at the end of Carrie's first year. Carrie left for Ecuador for the summer, but they continued talking throughout that time and picked right back up where they left off when she came back in the fall. Against Carrie's advice, Wyatt applied to medical school and started at the University of Nebraska in 2020 and they have done distance for the past couple years. Wyatt has mostly been making the trip to Madison while Carrie is in residency.
