Saturday's attire is Formal. For anyone wearing heels, cocktail hour and dinner are on grass, so we recommend a block heel. Keep in mind it can get chilly at night up here in September!
While our wedding day events are adults-only, we know some of you are traveling in with kids, so encourage you to bring them to any other wedding weekend event!
Yes, transportation will be provided round trip from a designated hotel to the reception at Flanagan Farm. Please check back closer to September for specifics on the Travel page. Alternatively, should you prefer to drive, the venue has a large parking area. The church has ample parking for the ceremony as well.
Unfortunately due to supply and demand, we were unable to book room blocks. We have a discounted rate at the Hampton Inn (see Travel page), and there are tons of hotels and AirBnBs on the peninsula. Pricing for hotels on the peninsula have been on the rise, so please note there are several hotels near the Maine Mall/Jetport that are about halfway between the venue and downtown Portland. It is only about a 10 minute drive into downtown Portland from there, or 15 minutes to the venue in Buxton.
Your safety is important to us. We will keep guests updated on any precautions in effect in Portland as it relates to masking and testing. We kindly and respectfully ask that you are vaccinated for your safety and the safety of others. If you are not fully vaccinated, we ask that you provide a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the weekend. We will continue to communicate directly with you around specific logistics as we get closer to September.
