Our Story

Starbucks anyone?

It all started on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel!! I was ready to give up on love, but was willing to give dating another shot. David messaged me through the app and eventually we exchanged numbers. Over the weeks our conversation flowed, plus I thought he was really cute!! I looked forward to talking to him everyday. Then he wanted to meet. I got nervous and refused at first but eventually agreed to meet at the local Starbucks for a cup of coffee. I was extremely nervous. Our first date was December 29th, 2017. I liked him a lot and when he texted later that day, I knew he felt it went well too. David officially asked me to be his girlfriend February 11, 2018. From then on, we have made so many amazing memories together. From birthdays, to graduations, to AC and our Disney trip, I knew David was the one early on. I admire the son, godfather, and brother he is. I feel so fortunate to have met such a kind soul who loves me unconditionally. I also feel so fortunate to have found a family like his who welcomed me with open arms from day one. Nearly a year later on February 10, 2019, David proposed with a beautiful scrapbook of our first year together in front of my parents in our living room. Cleverly, he told me before coming over that he was at Starbucks and asked what I wanted. He refused to share his drink with me(a grande caramel macchiato) and now I know why! He took the gorgeous princess cut ring in a blue box out of the Starbucks cup and told me he loved me more than anything. The question was at the end of the scrapbook. I barely saw him get down on one knee because I could not believe my family held the secret for 2-3 weeks!!! I can't wait to marry my soulmate. Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite. Love, The Future Mrs. Mirro
