Flight
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE)
Flying into Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) will be the closest airport to downtown Aspen, typically 5-10 minutes via Uber/Lyft or the free RFTA bus. You will not need to rent a car (unless you plan to do extra sightseeing/hiking in Pitkin County) as everything in downtown Aspen is easily walkable and there is a free RFTA bus that runs throughout the county.

Denver International Airport (DIA)
If you choose to fly into Denver (Denver International Airport - DIA), this is about 4 hours from Aspen. There are rental cars or shuttle options at DIA. However: mountain highway traffic can be notoriously dreadful, ie this drive could take up to 6-8 hours. There are two other airports within driving distance to Aspen: Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) - 1.5 hours to downtown Aspen, and Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) - 2 hours to downtown Aspen.

RFTA Bus
There is a free local bus that runs through the Roaring Fork Valley (RFTA bus). The bus runs from downtown Aspen to Glenwood Springs, with routes to Snowmass. If staying in downtown Aspen, the town is very walkable (approximately 15-20 minutes from one end to the other). There are also free local bus routes that run throughout downtown Aspen. If staying in Snowmass/Basalt/Carbondale/Glenwood Springs, the bus service typically runs from 6:15 am to 2:15 am (Aspen to Glenwood Springs) or 4:00 am to 12:08 am (Glenwood Springs to Aspen). The RFTA bus can be used to ride to all events through the weekend, here are the destinations to utilize for each event: Thursday, July 17th - Aspen Highlands Friday, July 18th - Rubey Park Transit Center Saturday, July 19th - Hallum St + 8th St Sunday, July 20th - Garmisch St + Hopkins Ave
