Jake and Sara were both in English 401 at UNH Manchester. They were sitting across from one another in the same row, when the teacher broke everyone into small groups for icebreakers. Sara mentioned that she enjoyed skiing, and a few classes later Jake and Sara were walking to their cars together. Jake said that maybe they should go skiing together sometime. On February 8, 2017 the couple officially started dating and on January 11, 2022 they got engaged with plenty of ski dates in between!
