Guests are expected to come in black-tie attire. Women should wear floor length gowns and men should wear a tuxedo with either a black tie or black bow tie. Contrary to the ‘black’ in black-tie, women are encouraged to wear fun colors and patterns. Comfortable shoes and a light jacket or shawl are recommended for the ceremony.
Guests are expected to come in cocktail attire. Women should choose knee length or midi dresses, and men should wear a suit.
Unless you have been told by the couple that your children are welcome, please do not bring them to the welcome event, ceremony or reception.
Comfortable shoes for walking and wearing layers are essential for visiting Vail. Once the sun goes down, the evenings cool off drastically, even in the summer months. Wearing sunscreen daily is suggested because you are more prone to sunburn at high altitude. Drink plenty of water and electrolytes to protect yourself from altitude sickness!
Everything is within walking distance around Vail and Lionshead Village. There are also complimentary Town of Vail busses that run between the villages. You can check the town of Vail website for more information.
