Definitely cannot see the whole place in one day.  Still on our list to return and visit again!

Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art

We often access on bike from Birch Mountain Road.  Walking/Hiking is perfect from this location.  

You can see Hartford from the top of the Carriage Trail.  Gorgeous View!

Old timey diner. Must order, cheese burger, milk shake, or ice cream soda. The ice cream is made on premises and is fantastic.  Cash only but with on site ATM.

Things to do between the ceremony and reception

Irish pub you can visit between the ceremony and the reception and is located a few blocks from the church.

Pratt Street is closed to cars and has an abundance of great spots to spend the time between the ceremony and reception.

Vaughan's Public House

Bloom Bake shop is a fantastic and quaint pastry and coffee shop. 
Highly recommend to visit between the ceremony and reception.
