Chief Bridesmaid
What to say about my beautiful sister? It was a no brainer I wanted her to be by my side on this special day of my life. Mind you, that ship had sailed years ago when she made me pinky promise her that she would be my chief bridesmaid, and so, here we are! Even though I must of been that annoying wee sister, Ash was always there when I needed her. She never kicked me out of her bed when I would sneak in at night because I had a scary dream or needed my bottle. Ash is always the first person I call about the small or big things in life. From deciding to move to America, to figuring out what to wear on my first date with Peri, to screaming "We Got Engaged!" She was always there for me. I am lucky to call her both my sister and my best friend.
Best Man
Greg and I have known each other since we were 8 years old. We first met at our local soccer (football) club tryouts. Greg, being the best player at the club at the time, so he thought, did not know what was coming. Here comes a little chubby kid that does not know how to speak English. Piece of cake, right? So he thought. Boy, was he in for a surprise. What I saw? A scrawny kid with teeth too big for his face. And so the story starts. The beginning of a marvelous friendship. Here we are 24 years later and Greg is still around and a big part of my life. Greg has always supported me and shared his advice. Even when Caroline showed up in my life, I sought out his words of wisdom. He is a person I can rely on, call on, and trust. He is more than a friend. He is my brother and my Best Man.

Catherine and I are like two peas in a pod. Where you saw one, the other was never far away. We met in college and hit it off instantly. By the end of the semester everyone was calling us twins. Even Catherine's parents were convinced we were separated at birth! Degree in the bag, and the twins got separated again. However, distance never affected our friendship, we always found time for a dinner date, a bottle(s) of wine and somehow always stumbled our way to a dancefloor or two. Fast forward to 2021, now living in different countries, both engaged to get married in 2022 and experiencing it together. Just like twins should!
Groomsman
The first time I met Anthony, I was 13 years old. It was soccer that brought us together. Anthony a kid from Florida and me a kid from Illinois, competing against each other to reach the same goal. We moved away from our homes at age 14 to live at a boarding school. This really brought us together and grew our friendship. We relied on one another often and looked to each other for comfort or just a good laugh. We ended up playing together at the same club, even living in the same building. He was my neighbor whose door was always open. Be it for a chat or sharing a pizza. Even when our paths separated us, we never lost touch. Our relationship only got stronger over the years and friends turned into family.

I will start off by saying, it was hard to find a sensible photo of Erin and I, which kind of sums up our friendship these past 24 years. She is the life of the party, no matter what room she is in, you bet she will have everyone crying with laughter. Not only is she hilarious, she is also one of the kindest people I know. I guess that is why she is such a great friend and nurse! Erin and I grew up a stone throw away from each other. We would meet at the bottom of her road, sit on the wall and talk for hours. If there is one person that knows all the good and bad stories about me, it is Erin, as she was probably there, right by my side, encouraging me!

This guy! I met Mauro in college. And yes, soccer was the match maker. They say you meet some of your best friends in college. In this case, they were right. We came to Michigan as Freshmen not knowing each other and left with a friendship that would last a life time. We both called Chicago our home and it is where incredible memories happened. I was fortunate to have one of my best friends only a few miles away and could rely on him when I needed him. I stood at his wedding and cried like a baby when I saw his bride walking down the aisle and seeing the pure happiness on his face. My goal is to make him cry at our wedding.
