What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm on the rooftop of the Kimpton Canary Hotel. We advise you to arrive at least 15 minutes early so you can find your seat with plenty of time.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal. Think suits, tuxedos, maxi and midi-length dresses. April weather on the coast can be chilly and the ceremony and reception will both be outdoors, so we suggest bringing a coat. There will be outdoor heaters as well.

Can I bring a date? Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue restrictions and personal preference, we are keeping the wedding small and intimate with only close friends and family. Therefore, we can only accommodate the guest(s) listed on your invitation.

Do you have a room block or any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Kimpton Canary Hotel available for those who wish to stay at the wedding and reception site. Link to book in the room block: http://tinyurl.com/3mjb3fdu There are a variety of other hotels within walking distance such as Best Western Beachside Inn, Hotel Santa Barbara, De La Vina Inn, etc. We recognize staying in downtown Santa Barbara can be costly, Goleta is another option that is a 15 minute drive away with more places to choose from.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is valet parking available for a cost at the venue. There are also a few parking garages within the area.
