We're so excited to celebrate with you!

One New Year's Eve in college we both decided to carpool with a few others to Windy Gap, a Young Life camp in NC, to spend the weekend. God and his sense of humor knowing what this would lead to, put us in the same car for the trip. A middle seat between us, a little bit of small talk, and maybe only an hour together total - who would have thought this would lead to marriage?! Two years went by following of not seeing or talking again. A funny horse video on Instagram was all it took to break the ice. Fortunately for Graydon, Caroline is a sucker for funny animal videos and his video on his Instagram story returned a message, which turned into another, and then another, and then another... Eventually, this turned into a phone call and a smooth excuse was proposed by Graydon, to come down to Athens in hopes of a long-awaited first date. His friend Evan needed help "moving out," but ended up not needing Graydon's help anymore. Graydon still drove the hour and a half to Athens just for the date and picked Caroline up for a night filled with board games, Bear Hollow Zoo, Taylor Swift, and then Graydon drove all the way back for a final exam the following morning (he passed). Caroline was sold probably from the first date, but Graydon didn't stop there. Caroline was going to study abroad in Australia over Christmas. Graydon feeling terrible about her missing a white Christmas, drove Caroline to North Carolina on their second date for a day of sledding and Christmas lights. He then proceeded to keep track of the time zones during her study abroad, so that they didn't lose touch. The fun adventures and thoughtful dates haven't stopped in two years, and now here we are GETTING MARRIED IN JULY! We're still loving the Lord's sense of humor.
