We met on the playground of Hurlbutt Elementary School. Although we were in the same class from K-12, somehow we rarely crossed paths. We shared many of the same close friends, in fact two of who are now married. It was during their wedding planning that we eventually reconnected 10 years after high school. Both living in New Haven at the time, and only a few blocks apart, we began spending time together regularly and eventually started dating. The rest is history.
