The Sterns, who built this beautiful home and gardens in 1921, were friends of Caroline's grandparents. Humanitarians and servant leaders who were ahead of their time, Edith and Edgar advocated for voting rights, creative expression, education, and many other causes. You could easily pass an entire day viewing the exquisite exhibits at the Historic New Orleans Collection. We recommend bookending your tour with a beverage and snacks at Antoine's Hermes Room and/or The Napoleon House.
A sobering and inspirational experience. Don't miss the brief documentary film narrated by Tom Hanks!
The Sculpture Garden at New Orleans Museum of Art in City Park is a gem, a respite, a breath of fresh air and art. Take in the more than 90 works over 11 acres, then take amble over to Cafe du Monde (City Park edition) for coffee and beignets. (Note: we're partial to Beignets of all forms.)
In case you need a retreat in the midst of the Big Easy, Spyre is your place for yoga, meditation, cold plunges, and hot saunas.
