Bethesda Bagels
On Saturday mornings growing up, Caroline's dad would take her and her brother, William, to get bagels here. Caroline has since brought Andrew many times on trips to Bethesda. We often stop here to get a bagel on our way back to New York.
Quartermaine Coffee Roaster
Quartermaine's is located next door to Bethesda Bagels and is a Bethesda institution. It's so good that Andrew gets a bag of their beans every year for Christmas from a very creative gift giver! (William)
Capital Crescent Trail, Trailhead
Across the street from Quartermaine and Bethesda Bagels, a treelined trail for walking with your coffee or going for a run. The trail runs all the way to Georgetown-which is popular with bikers.
Tastee Diner
The best breakfast in Bethesda-the blueberry pancakes are a favorite of both Caroline & Andrew. The Tastee diner is perfect for early breakfast or late night french fries!
Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Bethesda
A newcomer to Bethesda, Tatte is another great option for coffee and a quick breakfast or lunch.
Uncle Julio's
For those looking for a spot for dinner, Uncle Julio's is a Lawler family favorite. Great for groups, it is a place Caroline often gathers for meals with friends on trips back to Bethesda.
Pines of Rome
A Lawler family staple for Italian food. We recommend the white pizza!
Woodmont Grill
