Located in the heart of Beach Haven, they are known as Long Beach Island’s most unique eatery. “Chegg” is a famous spot for all meals, but there’s always a wait at breakfast, so you know it’s good. They’re known best for their wing selection. It’s open late-night, too, and so much fun to visit then!
Coastal Coffee Company is a Long Beach Island, NJ based coffee shop and café with a Flagship location in Beach Haven. They specialize in coffee and espresso, hand-crafted and house-made cold brewed coffees and teas on tap, and a variety of healthy food options, Acai bowls (our favorite), as well as sweet and savory avocado toasts, smoothies, pastries, and other treats.
The Local is located right when you get onto the island from the bridge. It’s a cute little market where you can pick up fresh baked goods, delicious coffee or tea, and get bagels from their food truck that they have out a lot during the summer. It’s one of our favorite places to stop!
Relaxed family-run destination. American restaurant with an Asian flare.
Both of our families love to play pickleball. There are public courts located on the skating rink at Nelson Avenue Park at the end of Bay Avenue, where there are always people playing in rotations in the morning, and any level of play is welcome.
This lighthouse is probably the biggest landmark of the island and is truly such a beautiful spot.
Best bagels in LBI!
We’ve been to the rooftop of Hotel LBI a few times, and it's a fun atmosphere for drinks. There’s a bar that looks out across the bay, and lots of games set up all around the roof.
