If you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, reach to our wedding planners, Poncho & Gina at +52 1 993-188-6753 or +52 1 999-200-6823.
Question

How do you get around Merida Mexico?

Answer

Walking or in a taxi. We do not recommend Uber or Lyft because they are not allowed in many areas in the city.

Question

Are Taxis in Merida Safe?

Answer

Yes! Merida taxis are safe. You can hail one right on the street, and often drivers will quickly honk at people walking on the street to “ask” if you want a taxi. We recommend asking the hotel reception to get you one.

Question

Can I use credit cards or do I need cash?

Answer

Come prepared with cash for taxis and local shops. If you bring US dollars, you can find currency exchange places in town to buy Mexican pesos. The airport, some shops, and some restaurants will accept credit/debit cards.

Question

Where's the wedding at?

Answer

The Religious Ceremony & Wedding Reception will be at the same location, Hacienda San Pedro Ochil.

Question

How do I get to the Hacienda San Pedro Ochil?

Answer

We got you! We have scheduled transportation to pick & drop you off at three of the hotels we partnered with.

Question

What should I wear?!

Answer

We want you to be you and don't worry about it too much. Here's a cheat sheet to ease your mind: CASUAL Generally, "casual" means anything goes, but jeans, shorts, and tank tops are probably not appropriate unless they are specified as acceptable. For wedding wear purposes, assume casual business to be on the safe side. - He must wear: Wear pants/jeans with a button-down shirt/short sleeve guayabera. - She should wear: A sundress or a skirt or pants with a nice blouse. Makeup and hair can be natural. FORMAL GUAYABERA This code is for weddings in warm weather (like in Yucatan) or on the beach, providing comfort to the guests as well as a beautiful look. It’s generally the type of outfit for a civil wedding by day but can also be applied in the evening. - He must wear: Pants in light colors (preferably linen) next to a long-sleeved guayabera in light colors, in daytime weddings. If it is at night, darker colors should be worn. Avoid wearing sandals. - She should wear: Wear a short but formal dress or a long one made of light fabrics. Opt for bright colors in strong or light tones, avoiding black or very dark tones. Go to this link for inspo: https://www.yucatanlove.com/inspiracion-como-vestir/

Question

Are there any Wedding Events planned for Sunday?

Answer

No, go explore the city! Sunday is your day to be a tourist. We did not plan events this day so you can enjoy and relax during your time off or fly back home.
