BJ and Carol met over the Christmas holidays at a friends house in 2002. We were both smitten with each other at first site but hid it. So much so BJ, didn't even hug Carol goodbye because she was afraid Carol would "know" how she felt. The following months consisted of marathon phone calls, AOL chats till all hours of the night, and visits back and forth as Carol lived in FL and BJ lived in PA. Five months later BJ moved to FL and on the way to the beach on BJ's first day they were in a car accident. One would think this was a bad omen but it only brought them closer together. The next 16 years were filled with love, learning, a few disagreements, and finding out that our love can take the distance and random hours. BJ is an over the road truck driver by the way. Their love is special and had stood the test of time and will continue to do so.
