Fletcher Cove Beach Park
Where we got engaged AND the first beach date we had. :) Beautiful at any time of day, but especially great for a picnic around sunset. There is a playground for kiddos, too!
Plan 9 Alehouse
See where it all began ;) Also, get seriously good beer, browse records for sale, listen to records played on a turntable behind the bar, and bring some cash or quarters to play some pinball!
Breakfast Republic
One of our favorite breakfast spots. (Get the Jurassic Pork eggs benedict and a mango mimosa! Mmmmm!)
Kit Carson Park
Fun local park if you're just looking for a nice stroll, pretty picnic areas, or a little "lake" to feed ducks and birds.
The Henry
Our first “fancy date”! Get the braised short rib, you won’t regret it.

Our first date spot! Amazing Italian coffee, amazing staff. Teas, breakfast, and lunch also available!
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
Coronado Island
Visit the historic grand Victorian Hotel Del Coronado, lounge on the beach at sunset, see the glittering sand, rent bikes and ride around the island, get ice cream at MooTime Creamery, try Parakeet Cafe for smoothies and juices, or visit The Henry for upscale brunch, lunch, or dinner.
La Jolla Cove
Enjoy the cove’s grassy areas, wade around the tide pools, and see the sea lions! Also try grabbing something refreshing at the Living Room Cafe on Prospect St.
