Is the ceremony and reception outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Some areas will be tented. The outdoor areas will be on grass and concrete – please keep this in mind as you are choosing footwear.

How do I get to the ceremony/reception from the hotel?
Answer
Shuttles will transport guests from the hotels to the ceremony and reception. During and following the reception, the shuttles will provide transportation back to the hotels. Each hotel will have its own shuttle bus to the venue. The FIRST shuttle run is at 3:45 PM, so come early and enjoy a beer before the ceremony. The second and LAST bus departs at 4:15 PM, and the ceremony starts at 4:30 PM. Check the Travel & Hotel page for more information.

Is there parking available at the reception venue?
Answer
Guests are welcome to park in our neighbor's front yard (178 Indianola Road, Cheswick, PA 15024) for both the ceremony and reception. For those intending to enjoy alcoholic beverages, we strongly advise taking advantage of the shuttle service to and from the hotel. Ubers are not that easily accessible in the suburbs.

What is the dress code?

Casual cocktail attire. Outdoor setting with concrete and grass. Choose footwear accordingly!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
If you didn't know, Pittsburgh is ranked one of the cloudiest cities in the US with an average of 203 cloudy days a year. The average temperatures in Pittsburgh in September are 75 (high) to 55 (low). But you never know with Pittsburgh! We recommend checking back closer to the wedding for a more accurate weather forecast.

While we love all of the little ones in our lives, our wedding will be an adults-only event.
