Question
What time is the bus?
Answer
The buses will be departing the hotel at 4:10 and 4:15pm. The buses will be going back to the hotel approximately every 30 minutes starting at 9:30pm.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! We ask that our guests dress in formal / cocktail attire. (Midi or long dresses and suits and ties) The bridesmaids will be in shades of green.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate a certain amount of people. Guests names will be specified on your invitation.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
While we love kids, we want this to be a safe and enjoyable wedding for all so we are asking for no kids at both the ceremony and reception.

Am I allowed to take photos during your wedding?
Answer
During the ceremony we ask for no personal pictures and no cell phones. We have an amazing photographer and videographer who will be capturing the whole ceremony and do not want your personal devices to get in their way. During cocktail hour and the reception feel free to take (and share) as many photos and videos that you want! We will have QR codes for POV camera around the venue. POV camera transforms your phone into a digital camera. Once you scan the code you will get 25 pictures to take during the night and the following morning the photos will ‘develop’ for everyone to see!

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes! There is a parking lot at the venue. There will also be a shuttle to and from the Country Inn and Suites in Chanhassen.

Do you have hotel recommendations and transportation?
Answer
We have a block of rooms at the Country Inn and Suites in Chanhassen. More information on this can be found in the Travel section of our website. There will be a shuttle to and from this hotel only. There are not many hotels near our venue so we recommend staying at the Country Inn and Suites, but you are also welcome to look in other cities or check out airbnb!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 5:00pm sharp! We ask that you arrive by 4:45pm so you have time to make your way to the ceremony site and find your seat.

Is everything at the same venue?
Answer
Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all onsite at the Edward Anne Estate at Bavaria Downs. The reception ends at 12:00am.

Are there any other events that I should know about during the wedding weekend?
Answer
We will be hosting welcome drinks on Friday, 7/26/24 from 8-10pm at the Chanhassen brewing company (951 W 78th St. Chanhassen, MN 55317). The brewery is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There will be drinks and light snacks. Attire is dressy casual- think sun dresses and polos.
