Clint and Carly met on the online dating app, Bumble. You know, the one where the girl messages the guy first? Carly decided to give online dating one last shot while Clint was just starting (and unbeknownst to him, ending) his online dating venture. Carly messaged Clint first with the pick-up line "I think we should break up" to which Clint replied "I'll have my attorney contact your attorney." After a bit of back-and-forth banter, Clint asked Carly out to happy hour. Upon arrival, Clint had scratchers for Carly to break the ice. Carly asked what we should do if we win, to which Clint replied "SNACKS!" (obviously). So, they scratched off the scratchers and to their surprise, won $20! Happy hour quickly turned into late night snacks before they ended their night. The conversation was easy and Clint and Carly both knew they'd met "THE ONE". I guess you could say rest is history!

Carly decided she was going to plan a 2nd Annual Family BBQ for our immediate families. Clint had other plans brewing when Carly was distracted with planning her own engagement, I mean Family BBQ! They had a Hawaiian food theme for the BBQ, think pulled pork, Hawaiian pizza, Cabbage Salad, and lots of beverages. Once their families arrived, Clint asked Carly if their Friends could stop by since they were on their way to a date night. Their friends showed up with a pack of Truly's and a bunch of scratchers for everyone since they were "Crashing" our party. Little did Carly know; this was all part of Clint's master plan. They passed out the scratchers and everyone began scratching, well, mainly just Carly while everyone watched her... but she was oblivious. Shortly thereafter, Carly realized that she had 3 matching diamonds on her scratcher and called out that she though she won! She scratched the prize and in the box, it said, "Will you marry me?" She looked up at Clint and said, "Are you serious?" Clint replied with "Did you win?" to which Carly replied, "I think so" and they embraced each other with a long hug and kiss. Carly said yes and the celebrations and festivities continued through the night until the downstairs flooded due to a toilet clog. Any who, the scratchers came full circle. Clint and Carly can't wait to say, "I DO!"
