In the year 2000, two kids played as BugsBunny & LolaBunny not knowing that 21 years later these same kids would play as boyfriend and girlfriend. Now 23 years later, these young adults will take on their biggest role yet as Husband & Wife. After being nudged to reconnect by their mothers for almost a year they finally spoke and the connection was almost instantaneous, their first conversation lasted for over 10 hours they were in every sense of the word "smitten." Mother of the Groom POV: ""Anyone who has heard my testimony has heard about my angel Ella. They have heard about my beautiful friend whom God used to labor with me through some of the most difficult times in my life. I call her my angel because the way we met was nothing short of divine. October of 2000, unbeknownst to either of us, was the beginning of a lifetime relationship. Shortly after, at the tender age of 4 years old Carlton and Chelsea met and played together often. Both attended Dishman Elementary School in Beaumont, TX from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. In November 2003, our family moved to Conroe, TX. Although he didn’t see her again, I ALWAYS referred to Chelsea as my daughter-in-law. For the next 20 years, on our Facebook posts and during our conversations, Ella and I continued speaking about my daughter-in-law! Over the years, Ella and I would discuss just how much Chelsea and Carlton had in common and how they really needed to reconnect. After several thought-out attempts at what could possibly happen, we finally convinced the two of them to speak and the rest is history. We could go with the old saying, “Mama knows best,” but I believe it is wise to say that it was simply ordained by God!" Mother of the Bride POV: "With my heart filled with gratitude, it is a privilege and honor to see Carlton & Chelsea's love story evolve! I can remember seeing Chelsea dressed in her red and white Greater Good Hope childcare uniform as we visited the Gaddis household. Chelsea coming in behind me speaking to everyone "Hii, yall!" lol. Little miss lady coming in gathering the boys up for fun as they allow her to make all the rules for their games. There on the couch sat a little light brown eye boy looking shy, I didn't understand then why I remembered him sitting there so vividly, it truly stood out. I know now that in that moment I saw my future son, my daughters Husband and my future (1st) Granddaughters daddy!!"
