Credit and debit cards may be used for most purchases, but you may wish to bring cash for local vendors and tips. Both U.S. dollars and Mexican pesos are widely accepted. There are ATMs in town where you can get U.S. dollars and Mexican pesos.

Where can I get groceries if I'm staying in a condo?

Answer

There are many convenience stores in town, just a short walk from the gates. Mercado Ollin is a specialty market that sells dry goods, fresh produce, wine and spirits, as well as personal items. There is an ATM outside the market, as well.
