Austin and I met at Silky O Sullivan's through a mutual friend after a Memphis Grizzlies basketball game. We started talking about Ole Miss football and how I've always wanted to go to the Egg Bowl. Austin proceeded to grab his phone, get online, purchase some tickets and ask me to go with him that next weekend to Oxford. Ironically, Austin bought me a drink called a Walk Me Down and that's exactly what we're going to do May 22!
Austin and I were suppose to go to Coastal Fish Company for my birthday in March but COVID had other plans. So in May I didn't think anything of it when my parents asked if I wanted to finally celebrate my belated birthday dinner. As Austin and I were walking into the restaurant, I told him I really wanted a picture by the lake at sunset. Little did I know Austin already had something up his sleeve. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with my parents with birthday cake and all. I still had no idea what's going on. I was completely oblivious. After dinner, Austin led me to the lake to get the picture that I wanted. Austin sped off and I thought I had never seen him so excited to go take pictures before. As we stood by the lake, Austin got down on one knee and I instantly started screaming and crying. We don't even think Austin officially asked me because he was laughing at my complete shock and in awe that he had pulled off the impossible of actually surprising me. We can't wait to celebrate with all our family and friends in May!
