What's the weather like in Summerland in August?

Answer

HOT, HOT, HOT! It can get up to 40 degrees in the summer so be prepared. No 3-piece suits for the wedding. Remember if you're out and about to drink lots of water and wear a hat. There may also be smoke at that time of year from forest fires. FIngers crossed we'll get lucky this summer!

Is there a dress code?

Comfortably classy! Wear what you're comfortable in with these three things in mind: 1. HEAT 2. GOTTA DANCE 3. Will Carley and Seb want you in photos?

Are kids invited?

Answer

For the most part, no. Which was a request from many of our dear friends with littles. Cuz who doesn't need a night off and we'd love our wedding to be that gift to you! That being said, Carley's nieces and nephews will be attending and there are a few folks from far, far away that are making the trek as a family. Will alcohol be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be a few different types of cider and wine that will be complimentary as well as a TWOONIE bar with the classics available. Please remember to bring cash!

Transportation to/from reception

Answer

There is a 10 min drive in between the ceremony and reception. Obviously, we encourage folks who will partake in the liquid festivities to not drive and there are taxi companies available. It is best to book ahead. The party will be closing down at 11pm at the cidery. Summerland Taxi: (250) 494-6651
