We're getting married!

Cari & Tony met in June 2015 during Center City Sips in Philadelphia. It was not love at first sight. After a few weeks of knowing each other, they exchanged phone numbers. Their first date was terrible! Luckily, they gave each other another chance and quickly realized they were a perfect match.

After five and a half years together, Tony finally proposed to Cari! The couple loves to explore new hiking trails and parks in the area. One of their favorite hikes is the Blueberry Hill Trail in South Jersey. It's an easy hike and the Philadelphia skyline is visible from the top of the hill. After spending a few hours at the driving range, Cari & Tony decided to go for a quick walk at Blueberry Hill. When they reached the top they looked out at the Philadelphia skyline. Tony took out his phone to snap a selfie and started to say his planned proposal when two men with cameras came walking up behind them. Unfortunately, the two men were not there to capture the surprise proposal. They were there to take photos of the skyline at sunset and didn't realize that they ruined Tony's perfect proposal! Cari still had no idea that Tony was about to propose so Tony quickly came up with a new plan. The two walked down a trail that overlooks a quarry when Tony got down on one knee. Cari continued walking without noticing. Finally, Tony yelled out "turn around!" and when she did, he asked her to marry him. They celebrated their engagement that evening with family and friends via FaceTime and Zoom.

Cari & Tony will exchange their vows in front of their family and friends at The Loews Philadelphia on December 31, 2021! Although they want to celebrate with everyone, guests who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are asked to celebrate the happy couple from the comforts of their own homes. A live stream of their ceremony will be available for unvaccinated guests to view online. Guests who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception in person.
