Believe it or not their love began in a Library. But let's start from the beginning. Courtney and Brett both were attending Saint Joseph's College of Maine when their friend groups started to hangout. Soon enough, Courtney and Brett were both at the Baseball Suite "40s night" bonding over the fact that they are both from the North Shore. Brett being from Melrose and Courtney being from Revere, Courtney was kind enough to offer Brett a ride home for Thanksgiving break since Melrose was on her way. Brett excitedly accepted. You would think the rest was history there, but no. Courtney waited for Brett Thanksgiving week and when she called him asking when he would be ready to leave, his response, "Oh, I'm already in Melrose." Looking back at it, this was a very Brett thing to do, but Courtney was not thrilled. Truth is, it definitely caught her attention. Fast forward Brett and Courtney would argue who was playing hard to get, and Brett would claim that ditching her was a part of his "game." Saint Joe's gets out for winter break and when they return for second semester, Courtney was assigned as Brett's study hall proctor. This meant Courtney was supposed to supervise Brett and make sure his work was getting done. However, in Brett's terms this meant sit with Courtney and charm her into forging his hours (which did not work), but on the other hand Courtney was charmed with his kindness and personality. Over study hall, they got to became closer until they were eventually inseparable. Now, we can officially say the rest was history. And Brett's plan seemingly worked. Today, Courtney and Brett live together with their two children (cats), Milo & Luna, and look forward to celebrating their happy ever after with the people they love most.
