In March 2022, fate brought us together on a dating app called Hinge. From our very first interaction, there was an undeniable spark, but little did we know how quickly and deeply our love would grow. Our first date was to see a movie that both of us had already watched. Too nervous to admit this to each other, we sat through the film pretending it was our first time seeing it. That night, we laughed at our shared secret and realized how comfortable we were in each other's company. Not long after, we took a significant step and moved into our first place together. It was there, in the cozy stairwell of our new home, that Kristen, with a heart full of love, whispered those three magical words, "I love you." Carey, caught off guard by the depth of the moment, needed a bit more time to say it back. To this day, Kristen lovingly teases him about his delayed response. Our love story is one of serendipity. We both grew up in Southern Utah, spending our teenage years just a stone’s throw away from each other but never crossing paths. It wasn't until we swiped right years later, miles away in Orlando, FL, that our worlds finally collided. Working at Disney World, we both found ourselves in the same park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, in buildings right next to each other. It felt like there was an invisible string tying us together, guiding us to that perfect moment when we would finally meet. From the moment we met, we fell fast and deep. We cherish every moment together, whether it's an adventure on the seas or a quiet night in. Our story is a testament to the magic of timing and the power of love, and we can't wait to continue this journey hand in hand.
