Best place to be on a Saturday or Sunday morning in Pittsburgh. I swear you won't see anything more Pittsburgh than this absolute blend of all of the culture our city has to offer. From the $5 dollar one-of-a-kind Steelers t-shirts to the best cheeses in the world at Penn Mac, we guarantee you'll find something you'll love in the Strip.
Of course, you will see this on our wedding day, but our favorite part of the city is the neighborhood we live in! From the view of the city that is absolutely breathtaking to the tiny little bars on Shiloh like Sloppy Joe's, Mt. Wash is an absolute must-see.
We went to a Pens game for our first date! Erin was not a big hockey fan until she met Sean, but boy have things changed. Now, we are both fanatics! And trust me, the games are so much more fun in person.
The home of our beloved 6x Super Bowl champs! Erin is a bigger Stillers fan than Sean, but he still has endless love for this team. Although our guys will be in Cincinasty, stop by to say hi to the Chief and admire the beautiful stadium and all of its history.
Just want to be clear, we do not support Bob Nutting in any way, but dang, you cannot beat the view from this beautiful ballpark! Stop in if you want to see a quick Bucco loss!
The absolute most touristy thing to do in the Burgh. Take a ride up good ole Mount Washington. Definitely a one-of-a-kind experience, but be ready to sweat your lil butt off!
Stop on dahn the North Shore for a beautiful walk along our gorgeous rivers! Lots of dogs and bikers, this walkway is bustling during the summertime in Pittsburgh!
One of the biggest parks in the city with a great view! Great for a picnic or just relaxing in the grass. Bring your frisbees - they've got a great disc golf course! You might just spot Mr. Knepper and Jimmy there!
Our absolute favorite bar. From celebrating countless kickball victories (we take our league VERY seriously) to watching Steelers and Pens games to trivia Thursdays, Bigham is a place that is very near and dear to our hearts. Also - best wings in the city! (PS get the hot cheese bites or fried pickles!)
Another one of our favorites. The Summit has the BEST cocktails. I dare you to say otherwise. I can't even recommend one because they change every month. But I will say, even their basic cocktails beat any other bar's. Plus they have board games!
The bar where we met! Spin the shot wheel and act like you're 23 again! This place will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks for introducing us here, Court and Jake!
The most Pittsburgh restaurant you could possibly ever think of. Best sandwiches ever (our best buddy Joe thinks so at least!) No plates or utensils. Just your hands. Don't want coleslaw on your sandwich? Too bad.. They get insulted if you alter their sandwiches in any way.
Another one of our favorite restaurants in the city. Though we haven't even been to the new location yet, this Argentinian steakhouse is the best! Cannot go wrong with anything you order here.
Erin's family's absolute favorite hidden gem in the heart of Oakland. If you're a fan of Thai food, try this place out. You will NOT be disappointed. (Get the pad thai & java fried rice!!!)
Another Pittsburgh staple. Cannot beat a good greasy breakfast at Pam's. Get here early though - all the yinzers love this place! Do not leave without getting the potatoes & their famous pancakes!
We only discovered this place last summer... Located right on the Allegheny, this is closest to waterfront dining that you get in the Burgh. Delicious cocktails and food, but truly the environment is what makes this place the best!
Coffee fan? We got you. Located in the heart of the strip district, La Prima makes a mean cortado. Sean has quickly become the coffee expert since our trip to Italy and since we got our new fancy schmancy espresso machine, and he approves!
Amazing ice cream. Trust me, I LOVE ice cream. (Bring cash tho!)
Another Knepper family fave. If you like German food (and BEER!!), this place is a must. It'll be the heart of Oktoberfest on our wedding weekend, so this place will be bumping! Get the pumpkin roll ale (with cinnamon sugar rim - duh!)
A fun brewery in the Strip with good food as well! They have a pretty big outdoor patio upstairs and some shuffleboards on the first floor! Good times!
A unique bar/restaurant with duck pin bowling, arcade games, and unreal drinks? Count me in. Long before this place was a fried chicken restaurant and bar, it was Marty's Market - a brunch place where Sean and Erin met up with Courtney and Jake only a few weekends after they first met!
A great little brewery with outdoor seating & LOTS of dogs. Seriously, probably more dogs than people... just kidding, but a little serious. Great beers & a ton of fun!
Absolutely gorgeous flowers! So serene. Sean and I were extremely late to a wedding here one time! Great memz...
One of the most awesome museums this city has to offer. From Mr. Rogers to the ketchup that is undeniably 1000x better than any other brand, this museum is well worth the visit. We went to a Christmas party here thrown by Uber, and it was one of our favorite memories!
Another Pittsburgh classic - Erin spent countless Saturday nights in high school with Vicki and Megan at laser shows. Lots of fun for kiddos & adults alike!
Another Pittsburgh favorite - absolute great memories here. Bring your kids and watch them have a blast!
