We are so grateful to you all for coming to celebrate with us. After a year that tested us all, we're excited to gather and be joyful. We have significantly reduced our guest count and will be expecting around 120 attendees at this time. Our ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be open-air beneath a tent with all tent walls tied to allow for air circulation. Catering has been modified so that food will be served in individual portions. Masks will not be mandatory as our event follows two months of national access to vaccinations, however, guests are encouraged to do what makes them feel most comfortable. We will continue to update you as more safety protocols become recommended.
Cara Says: Ceremony starts at 6, so try to arrive and grab your seat by 5:50. Zach Says: Plan to arrive and be parked at the venue by 5:35-5:40 at the latest. Very few of our friends and family have a concept of time, so please heed my advice.
Cara's Answer: We've indicated on invitations whether or not a guest is permitted. Zach's Answer: If you can read then you shouldn't have this question.
Cara's Answer: Yes! We've added a spot on our RSVP for you to indicate any food allergens that we should be aware of. Zach's Answer: Yes, please indicate on your RSVP if you have any real food allergies. As a survivor of multiple attempts by our friends to poison me with tree nuts at many of their gatherings, we take food allergies seriously.
Cara's Answer: Yes! There is ample parking at the venue, albeit on grass. Attendants will direct you as you arrive. Zach's Answer: It's 2019 and we're getting married in the South. Yes, there is parking.
Cara's Answer: We are registered through Zola and Stafford's. Find all items under the registry tab of this site. Zach's Answer: On the right side of this webpage, use your mouse (or trackpad if using a laptop) to scroll to the top of this page and left-click on the word "Registry". There you will find items for purchase to be given as gifts.
Cara's Answer: Semi-Formal! We will be outdoors, so keep in mind when deciding which shoes to wear. Zach's Answer: No jeans. We're Episcopalian and this is a wedding, not a community picnic.
Cara's Answer: Make it a true date night, and leave the little ones in trusted care. Zach's Answer: Children truly are a blessing. Luckily we will have several clergy members at our wedding to provide blessings in the absence of children.
