FAQs

Question

What if I can’t find my name on the RSVP tab?

Answer

If you do not see your name on the RSVP, please contact Cara or Glen! We’ve had some issues with people names not being transferred over to the website.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

We are having our ceremony at St. James Catholic Church (309 S Stewart Rd Liberty, MO 64068) and the reception will be at Heritage Hall (105 W Kansas St. Liberty, MO 64068) which is a 6 minute drive.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour or two. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving beverages. We will start the reception around 5 PM.

Question

Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

There will be a small parking lot located to the East of the front door to Heritage Hall. Space will be limited in that parking lot, but there should be plenty of parking spots on the street and nearby parking lots!

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No, you will have to provide your own transportation to/from the hotel. But that doesn’t mean you can’t make new friends and carpool!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Kansas City Liberty located at 130 S Stewart Rd Liberty, MO 64068. This hotel is the closest to St. James Catholic Church but there are plenty other hotels in the area if you would rather stay somewhere else!

Question

How do I get to Heritage Hall from St. James Catholic Church?

Answer

You can simply put it in your GPS and it will give you directions. But if you would like step by step, here you go! 1. Turn right out of St. James Catholic Church onto S Stewart Rd 2. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto S Stewart Rd (Go straight through the roundabout) 3. Turn left onto Conistor St. 4. Turn right onto Kansas St. 5. Heritage Hall is on the right -Small parking lot is on the left-

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Although we cannot say for certainty, it will be late April so most likely a little chilly with a chance of rain. This is Missouri, so you never know what can happen! :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is April 1, 2022. You are able to go onto the “RSVP” tab on this website, search your name, and then follow the prompt.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond! Click the “Registry” tab for a link to our registries!

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post their pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #JollyGoodTime so we can keep track of all of your pictures and reminisce on this special day!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Although we encourage guests to take pictures during the reception and before the ceremony, we ask you please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony.

Question

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Liberty?

Answer

Since we are on the edge of Liberty and Kansas City, there are SO many awesome things to do! Please check out the “Things To Do” tab on our website for some fun ideas around town. **Please note that Covid-19 may still affect some of these businesses and they may be closed**

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

You can contact Cara at 913-568-2579 and Glen at 740-294-0159. We ask that you text us any questions instead of calling, only because we are busy bees and may not be able to answer right away!
