We’re getting married!!!

Their story... They met back in 2011 when Chris traveled from Saint Louis, MO to help with Youth Gospel Music Conference in Kansas City, Mo. Cara always thought Chris was very cute, but she was seeing someone, so she didn’t think about Chris too much. Every year Chris would come back to Kansas City for YGMC, the two of them would be cordial and speak, and also give each other a good “church hug,” but never thought any thing of it. Fast forward to 2017... It was May 29th and Cara was now single!! She had just been hanging out with her family for memorial day, and while on Facebook, Chris’s picture popped up on her timeline. So, as a friend Cara decided to write “Hey Chris, miss your face” on his wall. He ended up messaging her later in the evening. Through message exchanges Chris ended up getting Cara’s number. The two talked all throughout the rest of the night until about 3:30 the next morning as chris had to go to work. He ended up calling her again that next morning. From that point on the two talked all day. Chris had just lost his Aunt Louise and was in need of someone to just be there for him and Cara was that one. She traveled to St Louis on the May 31st (His moms birthday), and from that point on this love story grew.

630 feet in the air This was one of the best days for Cara & Chris. Alot of people do not know that this day was also the day Cara and Chris got legally married. With Phyllis, Chris’s mom, being very sick, the two decided to get married so that his mom could witness them married. This was the best day that Chris’s mom had while she was in the hospital. That same day at around 4pm, Chris took Cara to the Saint Louis Arch. She hadn’t been since she was 7. She also didn’t know that Chris had something up his sleeve. As the two went through security, Chris was on a mission in trying his best to hide the ring from Cara. He had the securty gaurds play right along with him. Fast Forward to the top of The Arch... They are at the top of the arch, 630 feet in the air. Cara is looking down at the view and as she turns around Chris is on one knee, with the ring in his hand, and he asked her to be His forever. ❤️
